St Luke's is situated in the seaside suburb of Castlecliff, Wanganui, and is an open, modern building with regular Sunday worship including communion, alternating between traditional and contemporary styles. There is a wide variety of preachers and always a welcome cup of tea or coffee after the service.

The Mutual Ministry Team members are supportive and enthusiastic about the activities that take place here.  These include:  Friendship Lunch (Wednesday noon), Craft, (various sessions), Mainly Music (Tuesday mornings), and other community events use the facilities. We also have several Cell groups for regular fellowship, prayer and Bible study.

As with Friendship Lunches, St Lukes, with the support of other church folk, run a local secondhand shop which includes a lending library, kitchen sundries, toys and good used clothing.
