St John the Evangelist - Homewood

St John’s Church, is a church in the Parish of Tinui, location Homewood Road.

The Parish of Tinui covers a large geographical area that stretches from Riversdale Beach, Homewood Road to Whareama and across to Tinui and Castlepoint.

Tinui is a friendly rural parish seeking to meet the needs of the farming community around it. Congregations are small and welcoming. Our Priest-in-Charge, Rev Steve Thomson is a local farmer and we believe he preaches in a way that is relevant to the lives of the community around him.
