Tawa
St Peters
Tawa is the northern most suburb of Wellington City. The Anglican Church has been a part of Tawa since it's settlement in the late 1800's when there where two very distinct communities; Tawa in the south and Linden in the north. The first church building was erected on land granted to the church by E G Wakefield, who started The New Zealand Company that was responsible for settlement in the Wellington area.

Tawa Anglican Church has been built on a strong Evangelical / Charismatic foundation and our services reflect this in our worship and preaching.
