St Matthew's is a medium-sized worshipping community situated at the southern end of Palmerston North. We are known for our friendliness, hospitality and willingness to serve our local community.

We provide an outlet for Ezee Meals and run pre-school music and movement classes (Twinkle Toes).

We also have a Starlight Group who coordinate the making of gift packages for patients and staff in the Mental Health Unit at Palmerston North Hospital.

We have a variety of Sunday and midweek services that range in style from traditional to contemporary. We have a Sunday children's and young people's programme and special services for children of the community at Christmas and Easter.  We have "KFT" (Knife, Fork and Talk) lunch for seniors on the last Friday of the month.

There is an AAW group (Women's Fellowship), Home and Bible Study group and a Men's group.  We hold Advent and Lent Study options, and offer Alpha at times.  Newcomers always welcome.
