St Augustine's - Petone

Our Parish Vision is:

 "taking the life, love and hope of God to our community".

As part of doing that at present we run "Twinkle Toes," a pre-schoolers' music and movement group. We also lease our hall at a rental designed only to cover our costs to different community groups.


Service Times

We have a family orientated service with programmes for primary school age children and pre-schoolers at 10am every Sunday; a New Zealand Prayerbook traditional style communion at 8am every Sunday; a 1662 communion service at 10am every Wednesday, and an Evensong for senior citizens at 2.30pm on the first Friday of every month. 

Our Youth Group (Yr9-Yr13) meets each Sunday afternoon in term-time at 4.30pm.
A study group for teenagers meets each Tuesday evening and two study groups for internationals meet mid-weekly.

The church is a beautiful wooden building which has been well cared for and is sought after as a venue for weddings.
