St Michael’s has been a worshipping community at the heart of Kelburn village for over 100 years. At present, we have three worship services on a Sunday. The 8am service is a quieter, prayer-book service. The style of the 10am service varies from week-to-week, ranging from a standard prayer-book service, through the monthly family service, to the occasional “high” service. There is Sunday School and youth bible study every week that there is no family service. Finally, Substance is the St Michael’s university-oriented evening service, involving weightier sermons, lower-key music, discussion times, and open prayer. St Michael’s is also host to a range of community activities, including the famous parish fair, an active Women’s Group, the Global Missions fundraisers, and the Minor Prophets Youth Group.
