Donkey a Hit at Christmas Show at St Aidan's, Tokomaru

Hataitai Parish - Demolition of Parish Hall

More than 50 years after the Parish Council decided to replace its dilapidated hall, the first demolition blows were struck at All Saints Hataitai on Sunday 25 November. I like to attend the annual Ordination Service at the Cathedral when I can, and it always lifts my spirits.

This year's service was a special treat as I was one of the nine Lay Ministers from different parts of the Diocese invited to be Lay Assistants at the service.    |

First Working Bee at Ruapehu Vicarage

Cathedral Music Alive and Well

If the other weekend (8 and 9 September) is anything to go by, the state of New Zealand's Anglican Cathedral choirs is very healthy. Despite Wellington wind's best efforts, over 180 choristers made it to Wellington Cathedral of St Paul for a weekend of singing.

St John's SesquiCentennial Celebrations

Over the weekend of Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May, St John's, Trentham completed its SesquiCentennial celebrations with a dinner at Te Marua Golf Club on Saturday night, and a combined service on Sunday at 10:00am, followed by a shared lunch.
