St George's School is an independent, Anglican primary school, providing a high standard of education for students ranging from Years 4 to 8.

At St George's, traditional values and learning principles are combined with innovative teaching and modern technology.  There is a real emphasis on reading, writing and maths, but you will also find 'smart' boards in our classrooms, and you will notice that every Year 7 and 8 student has a Surface 2 tablet to facilitate learning at school and at home.

Achievements:

Individual difference is valued at St George's and students of all abilities enjoy success here.

Our teachers are trained to accommodate different learning strengths and learning styles, and personalising learning is an especially high priority.

There is a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy because we understand that it is vital to get the basics right.  The success of our approach is demonstrated by the school's exceptional academic results of our students.

School Motto: Fidus et Audax - "Be Faithful and Daring"

School Vision:

"To dream, to care, to connect, to become active life-long learners"

School Values:

St George's is an Anglican School.  The Christian faith underpins the moral and spiritual growth of the students.  It has a strongly defined school culture that balances all that is good in maintaining traditions, high behavioural expectations and Christian teaching, with the most up-to-date teaching approaches being developed worldwide.

Our School Values are: Respect, Determination, Cooperation, Integrity, Excellence, Compassion, Courage, Creativity and Confidence.
