We used open space technology and volunteers nominated topics they were interested in discussing. People were free to attend any groups they were interested in and each group produced a sheet of recommendations.
The 62 topics that resulted (detailed below) were rated at the end of the day with red stickers by those who attended, on their importance as part of a Diocesan Strategy. The recommendations, and their ‘red dot’ count are available as pdf files. Please note that the text is as from the notes that were returned by the discussion groups other than minor edits for clarity.
On the Sunday a smaller group — mainly the 3M and ministry groups — used the same process to combine the themes into a manageable list, with reference to the results from Saturday. The 11 summaries that resulted from this process are also available as pdfs. (below) A shorter list of key issues was also compiled.
